Great Seoul Invasion (그레이트서울인베이전; sometimes abbreviated as GSI) is a band music reality survival show that aired on Mnet. It premiered on July 20, 2022 and ended on September 29, 2022.
The show was originally set to premiere on June 29, 2022, but was postponed with the 0th episode airing on June 29 instead of June 22.[1]
The winning band received a ₩100,000,000 cash prize, festival gigs in and outside of Korea, their own studio, and album release support.[2]
Background[]
On April 17, 2022, Mnet announced that the audition clips would be released on April 20th where the number of likes on the respective band's video, along with the combination of judges' score will decide the final contestants.[3]
CHA SE DAE, Motteland, and Under Hills would be separately evaluated as they were unable to participate in the audition live streaming.[4]
