can't be blue (캔트비블루) is a five-member indie band that debuted in 2024 with the single "Within the words I once called love."

2022-2024: The Idol Band : Boy's Battle, formation, debut, Blue Vinyl, member changes[]
In 2022, Lee Hwui-won and Park Jun-seo participated in the Korean-Japanese survival show created by FNC Entertainment, "The Idol Band : Boy's Battle." They competed until the final round under the band MiraCle.
In 2023, Lee Hwui-won and his college friends, Kwon Da Hyun, Kim Chae Hyun, and Lee Do Hun, together with Park Jun Seo formed a band called "can't be blue."
In June 20, 2024, can't be blue debuted with the single "Within the words I once called love."
In July 24, 2024, can't be blue held their first concert "Out OF The Blue."
In August 30, 2024, can't be blue released their first EP "Blue Vinyl" with "Sick of You" and "Within the words I once called love" as the title tracks.
In October 13, 2024, Park Jun Seo left the band can't be blue.
In December 2024, Kim Dae Hun joined can't be blue as the new drummer.
2025 to present: Magic Lily, Gonna Die, First Sight, take it anymore[]
In February 5, can't be blue participated for part 1 OST of the KBS2 sitcom drama "KickKickKickKick" with "Magic Lily."
In February 24, can't be blue released their 2nd single "Gonna Die."
In June 24, can't be blue released their 3rd single "First Sight."
In September 30, can't be blue released their 4th single "take it anymore."

- The reason for picking the band name "can't be blue" is because they want to do happy music without being depressed.
- It was revealed in Hanhae Kiss the radio that Chae Hyun wanted to form a band with Do Hun and were already making a song called "Within the words I once called love." After listening to this song, Hwui Won and Da Hyun were convinced to join the band.
